A Day in the Life of Aidan

So you would think that just cause I am a baby that I wouldn't have a lot to do during the day, but you would be wrong, wrong, wrong! I have LOTS of things to do during the day:

First I wake up, in my typically good mood, with my favorite "dog":

"I love me some doggie tail"

Then I give the cat his daily exercise or excitement, whichever way you want to look at it:

"Tormenting the cat is a highlight of my day!"

Next, I have my own bit of exercise:

"Bouncy bouncy fun"

After all that excitement I may go outside and chill out with my bro:

"This is the life"

And finally, some days I like to go and hang out with the local "colorful" wildlife:

"Who is this dude and what the heck is he holding?"

See? I am a busy little man!

It's My Birthday!!!

Hooray hooray I turned one-year old today! Wow the year just flew by. But what a fun year it has been. I have had so much fun discovering new things like laughing, crawling, playing, and (very soon) walking! Playing with my brother is the best part of my day along with playing (or chasing) the cat, that's fun stuff too. And I have really enjoyed spending time with my family and friends.

For my birthday I got a cool walker from Mama and Dada, as well as some books (that I can't destroy), a bead chew-toy (I LOVE to chew/bite things), and my brother got me my very own jumbo-sized Legos (which he seems to enjoy playing with as well). My Con Con gave me a cool "Birthday Bugs" pop-up book (which I have to look at with supervision because of my destructive tendencies!) and she gave me $100! I also got a big bunch of balloons and Mama made me cupcakes that I had fun demolishing (oh and eating as well).

This has been a very fun-filled year for me and I can't wait to see what this next year has in store for me and the year after that, and the year after that....
